I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been working in mental health since 2012. I received my Bachelor’s in Psychology and my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Northridge. I have extensive experience working for a department of mental health contracted agency as a therapist and as a supervisor of therapists.
I practice from a humanistic, client-centered approach. My goal is to help heal the whole person, rather than simply treating the problem. I believe in empowering my clients so that they can function independently outside of the therapeutic relationship. My approach is to allow the client to remain the expert in their lives and gently guide them towards finding the solutions that they need to solve their own problems.
Seeking therapy can often be an overwhelming experience, but if you are reading this you are already taking the first step in your journey towards healing. My hope as a clinician is to help remove the stigma that society has placed on mental health. I want to help normalize and validate the mental health needs of my clients so that they feel safe and supported.
Everyone’s journey in therapy looks different. Starting treatment means taking a step towards healing yourself which is an invaluable ride worth exploring. When you are ready, I am here to support you.
